Looking for a definitive answer...
when you guys re-seal 3pc wheels, did you all shave/sand down on the powdercoating, or paint on the mating surfaces, of did you just lay the silicone down over the paint/powdercoat and bolt them together?
I asked for those surfaces not to be powdercoated but i guess my powdercoater forgot.
Has anyone used ultra blue RTV silicone, i see a lot of people saying GE 5000 silicone, but the temp range for ulta blue is -65-600F so i dont see why it wouldnt be suitable.
