Two days ago i bought a set og 15x7 bbs 047 and have some questions.

Can anybody tell me if this has the 0,5" lip or 1" lip? im looking to do a refurbish so needs to buy parts. have a mini clubman so i dont want any lower et than 20 (will post project thread. )

Also how to messure out et? i read that every 1" wider lip will reduce the et with 12,7mm.. is this correct?

Is it possible to machine down the mounting surface on the center from .5" to .25" to get more et to play with in the dishes? or is this dangerous?

looking to make lips 2 or 2,5 inch lips in back and 1,5 og 2 in front

Correct.

It is possible, just make sure you have enough mean on the back pad to do so. You might be able to shave off ~5mm safely, just depends on the wheel.

1.5" lips = 15x8 et25.3
2" lips = 15x8.5 et18.95
2.5" lips = 15x9 et12.6
