I can't see that looking very good, the style of wheel does not compliment the style of the car at all.
Maybe a non-M could pull them off... but I don't know, I've never seen it.

He has wheels that kindaaaa look like type As, but are much hotter.

Yeah I didn't think it would look right at all, but I think they could work on the right E46.
They would look pretty derrty on a slammed sedan.
