Question about lips and offset.

Hey guys, I read the sticky; but I want to clarify.

I bought some BBS RF007s (17x8.5), which have 1" lips instead of 1.5" lips, making them RF006s (17x8).

et on the 8.5" wheel is 20.

Does that make my new et 26 or 32?

FS ad I bought them from said 32, but the sticky says it should be 26.

half inch is 12.4 mm

ya i get that, and thats what i thought. but the sticky on here states that every .5 inch removed or added to the lip changes offset by 6mm.

so im not sure which to go by.

damn, thats what i was leaning toward...less room to work with. oh well.
