  • What Do You Know About Miro vs Raderwerks

I need some information about these two wheel makers....

Miro, in my opinion, makes shitty BBS LM replicas and has a weird logo. I don't know much more than just that. Are all of their wheel designs a replica of another wheel? Is this a reputable company? I read that they are made with/by ALT wheels..

Im asking because I found a wheel made by Raderwerks, that seems to be the exact same wheel... Im not sure whats going on. They both have the same name even.

Miro STP1 vs Raderwerks STP-1s they seem to be the same wheel... Maybe, Maybe not? It looks like a different center cap.

    Miro STP1

    Raderwerks STP-1s

Discuss what ever you know about either wheel company or wheel model.

Most likely the same wheel. Just being sold under a different name. Raderwerks licenses out various wheels from other companies and renames them.

Both are modeled after DZ wheels (which are arguably replicas of Chevlons, themselves...there are some minor differences) Replicas of replicas

              HA!

Thanks for the info. I was thinking to my self, these are way to cool to NOT be replicas of something.

Now I need to know more about Chevlon Wheels.
I can't find anything though, Do they have a website?

the Chevlons have more bolts, and obviously the different cap surround, is that because theyre the original, or maybe just a greater variation.

WRD is a constant. Chevlon and DEs differed really in only the centercaps, and DEs were more common in larger sizes, Chevlons were usually found in 15s or 16s. Racing is just kind of thrown in there, although more commonly in the Chevlons.

                            Here's my old set:

Both pics my Mike the man Burroughs.

IMO, the Miros are reps of reps. The DZs have a few small differences, but the biggest ones being that they weigh more (my WRDs were surprisingly light, I think my 16x9s weighed less than my stock 15" RS001s) and they aren't a 3pc wheels like the WRDs are. I fucking **** MIros. I think that they look like shite compared to WRDs. Having said that, I'll go ahead and cast a second vote that the Raderwerks wheels are nothing but rebranded Miros.

Hope this helps. Oh, and if you want a set of the actual wheels, then keep an eye out on the used wheel websites, and also in the vortex wheel classifieds if you have a 4 or 5x100 car.
