Pininfarina/BBS 2 or 3 Piece?

Back from the grave...

I mentioned i bought a set of 16" pinifarinas long ago...

To be honest, i paid the guy bt they never showed up.., live and learn i guess...


But i found another set very close to me, in fact around 5km away, i picked them up today...

This is what i got...

They haven't been cleaned for 15 years...

Lips are beyond repair, but the face seems to be ok.


But...


The face is about 12.36" in diameter, which is close to the regular 16" bbs parts iirc..,
so you may see them again, same but different.

So i pulled them apart and the flange is in good shape.
All the bolts are ok, nuts not so much...



With a 2.5" oz lip on top...


Can somebody confirm that the 16" bbs faces are 12.3" / 313mm in diameter?

I believe you are correct, can confirm 100% tomorrow.
Also, those lips can be salvaged if needed, but it'd take some work.

I'm gonna bump this. I've been sitting on a set of 16" pininfarina centres for a little while and would love to build them up to 17s or 18s.
