TIRE SUGGESTION Needed

I have a 190e 2.3-16v Cosworth. Right now it's factory height but I hope to get springs from 'ilikebrownies" this week.
Anyway I have a set of 16x8 et30 Rial wheels that I'm going to put on. That leaves me with 2 questions:

1. Is only a few mm clearance from the shock tower enough or will I need a spacer?
2. What size tire will be enough to still handle decently but give a little stretch w/o fender work?

I'll post pics of the wheel later, I don't even know what model they are but they are light weight and will fit the look of the car IMO

EVO I wheels are 16x8 ET34 and they fit perfectly on a cosworth.
With an ET of 30, they should be pushed out more so strut clearance shouldn't be a problem.
225/45 are what people usually put on the wheels and they don't rub so you can probably put 205/45 for some mild stretch.

as for strut clearance, there are LITERALLY only a couple of MMs...
