  • Looking for oz lips, ever use wheelfox.com or felgenfuchs.de?

So I picked up a set of 16x8 et 37 OZ futuras, some of the lips have some rash so I would like to replace the lips. I can't seem to find many 16" OZ lips for sale other than http://www.felgenfuchs.de/en/Lips/16...nch-width.html and emailing Claus at Felgen Garage. The lips on Felgenfuchs.de are around 60 Euros cheaper per lip versus Felgen Garage, so I would prefer those if possible.
Just wondering if any one has heard anything about the site or used them in the past. The seller also has some listed on ebay for around the same price with good ebay feedback so I would bet its safe. I'm currently waiting for felgen fuchs to return my email about shipping costs to the US.
If any of you know other places to look for 16" OZ lips please post them.

    Thank you

if the lips arn't bent and the rash isn't really bad, I would say fix what you have. it's not that hard to do.
if that pic is representative of your rims, start with a file. then sand the rim with a DA sander with finer and finer grits til you get to around 1500-2000 grit. then polish with Wenol or Flitz.

it helps if you know how to use a file with some skill...not to be snarky, but it's not as easy as it seems. if you can do a good file job then you can start sanding with 320, then 400, then jump to 1000 etc.

if the dish is nice and clean, mask it off with a layer or two of masking tape so you don't accidentaly scratch them beyond the area your repairing.

for the cost of buying lips, and potentially new bolts (some wheel bolts are one time use) repairing what you have is vastly cheaper.

as far as buying new lips in the US, I've only gone to Tunershop. and I see they only list 17 and up for OZ.

Wheel pictured is the best of the group. Also I did hear back from the seller, roughly 70Euro to ship to the USA. I'm just not sure how long I want to wait for them to ship out.. Will be buying 4 lips and all new bolts just because.
