  • fitment issues on e36

i bought some c4 vette wheels thats are 17x9.5 et56, am running adapters that are probably 1 inch (dont know for sure previous owner didnt tell me i will measure later). the problem is that if i lower my collar on my coilovers (shitty racelands), the collar will rub against the tire. so now i am stuck with this wheel gap, and the wheel is already got a decent amount of poke going on. i will post pictures tomorrow. the question i have is without stacking spacers/buying wider adapters, how can i get rid of this gap? what have other people done in the past? does a company make a shorter spring than the raceland spring (i am NOT running my helper spring btw)?

coming from someone who has ran sawblades 9.5s et 56 on the front of a e36.. get rid of them.. i had to run 1 and 5/8s inch adapters on mine to give about a 1/8inch of clearence for my coils.. also had to flair the front fenders a shit ton and get 205/40s to make it fit.
