  • Staggered 17s on W124

Would 17s off a CLK500 fit on my 95 w124? I do also plan on OEM AMG lowering springs.

They are 7.5 fronts with 8 rears, the offset is 44

    thanks

they'll fit, but with this offset is really high and the wheels will sunk a lot...

    a 25-30mm spacer is a must

      Thanks prjektzwo!

I turned them down, thinking to get the same size all around so I can rotate the tires. This car is a long haul commuter and I like the diesel for 35mpg 75+mph.

I would like some wider wheels - what size would you recommend 17s or 18s? I thought 17s would be cool - but I'm still learning. What size wheel would I need to run 7.5 or 8 inch tires?

I prefer 17's instead of 18's, but it depends how low will you go...

If you want to run as low as the car in my signature or even lower - the right choice will be 17's, otherwise you can run 18's, even bigger wheels (not recommended)

About the the tires, again it depends if you want/need to stretch the tires or not, because on 7,5J-8J wheels you can run tires sizes from 165/35 to 225/45

thanks for the help projektzwo. I just replaced my lower control arms for the front, now it's wheels. I found a set of Brabus 17x8 et30, though I'm not sure if these will fit? I'm willing to roll my fenders
