Wheel Turnaround

My buddy wanted his wheels painted, So i went crazy. IF any body knows what kind of wheels these are please let us know, he needs 2 new barrels seeing how he bent them trying to drift >_>

Wheels I started out with are on the right. Notice all the brake dust and other shit.

Those look like HRE 501.

You know you can mount the wheel's face on the inside to make the offset lower. The face mounted on the inside would make them HRE 504.

Hmm. That's an idea. I could also flip the barrels, and mount them so i have the whole dish being the barrel. But that'd require me cleaning the barrels and shit. But do they look good so far?

Yeah they do, pretty unique color sheme with the pink and blue.

Polished lips would really set them off.

I'm going to finish the other 3 wheels first, Then i'll post up pics. It's a pain tho, Because we have to use like 4 cans of paint stripper from home depot to get the gold paint off. But it's well worth it.

Get the brush on aircraft stripper. You'll only need a little bit of that stuff to get it all off. I stripped all 4 of my RS's with 1/8 of the can.

Haha, Yeah I used aircraft stripper when I started to paint valve covers and fenders and shit for people. I hope to get more stripper before this winter storm and this (estimated 2 feet of snow in northern virginia) hits me.. So i have something to do in the garage while it's snowing me in.
