  • BBS Style 5 18" staggered on e39... but the colour?

So i was lucky to get a hold on some really flawless BBS RC061/062 style 5 18".
but the thing is that they have gold centers... my car is bluish-silver in daylight.. i dont really feel the combo, but i had to have theese wheels. So, any toughts/ critic? can it work? suggestions for other colours would be nice too

The car sits on bilstein b14 and goes all the way down when spring hits Norway

    quite unclear image

New bbs emblems will be ordered

    and another really foggy image

Black would look good under the silver I think.
Or make it Blue if you want something a little eye grabbing.

Nice rims, I have a similar set. Not enough money for the legit ones yet haha

Don't tell me life is so short, what have you done that's longer?

I usually like gold on silver(in some cases) and I think it works in the day time photo, but not so much in the night time photo's(the lack of centre caps doesn't help the over all image in those photo's though).....the above colour would also look nice!

I'll get em on in the bext month or so and post a pic, just got to put on some tyres..
I also think the wheels above would look nice, it gives the rims a more "expensive" look.
What type of paint will be best for the style 5 rim, considering that the center cap is plastic.

The Only problem i have with that colour is that everyone in my town is running Gun metallic on their wheels, wich looks about the same as light anthrarice too me.

The wheel that is the most common is called GS Hypertrack and is a cheap cast alloy copy of the bbs lm wheel.

Keep them gold. Gold looks great against silver.

I will try them on and post a pic when i've drilled the centre to e39 spec and get some tyres on them.

Anyone got experience with nankang ns2? i would say im an active driver, love curvy roads is the nankang ns2 a tyre that will preform like a stereotypic chinese tyre will? or is the standard a bit higher and safer like the big names in tyres.. michelin, dunlos etc?

was thinking of putting 215/40 front and 235/40 rear, this will give minimal tyrestretch.

I'm thinking you have the same weather as we have here Holland, just a 'bit' colder?
In other words, rain isn't an uncommon thing.. with your love for corners, I wouldn't buy nankang.

Ns2 is ok, but don't expect to be a cornering hero in the wet. There are much much better tyres available.

hehe yeah, we had at least 90% rain last summer here in northern Norway

What tyres would you reccomend that wont kill me ona rainy day, and gives a litte bit of stretch for my setup?
