  • What to do, what to do... wheel colour.

    Okay...

    So....

I'm standing at a crossroads here guys.

    Situation
I drive an E36 Touring. My dad drives an E36 Compact - both are 323i. Both have the same color (Cosmosschwarz). The Compact currently has, and my Touring will have, 8x18 ET20 and 9x18 ET22 BMW Style 32s on 215/35/18.
My Touring will receive M bumpers and M-Tech / Lux skirts soon, the Compact already has those goodies.

    Pics of the Compact:

    Pics of the Touring:

    Option 1

Paint my wheels lime green and put some matching lime green stickers on the car. Paint them a "normal" color again next year or maybe switch to some different wheels.

    Option 2

Paint my wheels the OEM color, maybe just a bit shinier. Go for the ultimate partnerlook with the Compact. M bumpers are a given and will be mounted regardless of which option. So this would mean AC Schnitzer Exhaust for the Touring, black kidneys for both, blacked out fogs and black MHW rear lights for the Compact. Basically completely the same apart from the mirrors and ride height (the Touring is lower).

While I love how option 1 would shock the German scene, option 2 would be very classy imo, esp. if we went to visit the BMW shows together in both cars. Would certainly make an impressive sight if both were parked next to each other.

I'm really not sure what to do.

What would you do, fellow stanceworkers?

Don't paint the wheels any funky colors. They aren't the right wheels for any color other than silver, except for maybe white.

                    Yeaaaaah...

I've settled on silver. I'll get them done in a very shiny silver, maybe even a finish like the OEM "Brilliant Line" finish, if you know what that is.

Good choice, but if any other color shoud be consitterd, it would be tan /cream white.

no brainer. loud colours only work on splits and or race cars. stock finish or ceramic polish.
