I always hope I stumble across something like this when I visit the junkyard.

I always hoped the same thing myself. It was all timing and luck. If I had not of been bored with nothing to so I wouldn't have gone to the junkyard.

I can only imagine the HUGE smile on your face as you snagged these beauts up.
I say put them on your E28 unless you're strapped for cash.
Or have another set in mind to put on your beamer ...

I did have a smile on my face AFTER I pulled them off the car. Up until that time I was trying to act nonchalant about the whole thing. Walked past the car about five times acting like I was looking at something else ( I didn't have the right tools right before they closed).

I might just keep them unless someone makes me a good cash offer for them before I start putting time into them.
Stated looking online till 3AM at finished versions... we all know how THAT goes.

I normally don't find ANYTHING! Not that I really look. I actually wasn't looking for anything at all that day. I would have to agree with you that it was my lucky day. I've been to several more in the past week and haven't run across any other 3 piece wheels.

So I picked up another E38 yesterday because it had these



18 INCH

This one isn't a "junkyard find" but lets just say I bought wheels for a good price and a running car came with it.

Going to take them off and test fit them on my E34 touring. Might have too much tire for the wagon. The E38 will be for sale once I replace a couple of blown bulbs and fix some interior trim pieces.
