rebarrel for bigger lips and smaller inner barrel?

I am looking to increase the lip size of my weds, currently 18x12 -8 I have a lip size of 5 inches. My question is what would be a safe inner barrel size to roll on or does that really even matter? I want to keep the same specs but what i take from the inner barrel, i want to add to my outer barrel. I havent checked with weds yet to see if they sell barrels by themselves but im sure they do. If not, I may have to find a different set to place my faces in.

since it sounds like you have a 5" outer/ 7" inner for these wheels, why not just swap the lip and barrel inside out? so you will have a 5" inner and 7" outer.

clearly, the thought of wanting to keep a 12" wide wheel and decrease the inner barrel would mean increasing the outer lip.

Pics would help to see if this is possible, but its likely you dont need new parts to do what youre asking. If you can handle a 7" outer lip that is

just reverse the face and polish the lip.
