  • Thoughts on fifteen52's

I'm starting to shop around for my Focus and have been throwing around some options for wheels, and I think that fifteen52 Tarmac's would look pretty awesome on it. Here is a very elementary photoshop I did, but it give you an idea on how they'll look. What are everyone's thoughts? The other options that I have been throwing around are Rotiform NUE's, OZ Superleggeras, and OZ Leggendas. I wanna stick with lighter colors since it provides a better contrast with the dark red paint.

Aren't those very similar to the stock wheels off one of the older Focus's?

And I'm on the fence about Fifteen52's. Sure they're relatively cheap which is an upside, but in person the wheels are SUPER flat (no concave, no lip, no nothing). And for some cars that works, I'm just not a fan.

I'm not sure if they're similar; I'll have to look it up.

I wanna go with big 5-spokes for my wheels, and the Tarmac's are a good price. The Rotiform NUE's would be cast 1 piece and are about $200 less than the Tarmac's, but I don't think I'd like the way they look on my car unless I got 19's.

Very reminiscent of the compomotive MO which is classic rally wheel often seen on Ford focuses. Honestly prefer the MO6 spoke though on them, think it looks more aggressive.

Due to the flatness they have they work on older cars. Your car has some extraordinary bodylines that need a wheels that supports them...

I am open to other rim choices, too. If you can find something to convince me that a 5-spoke isn't the way to go, then I'm all ears!

This Focus on OZ's is pretty wicked...

I love tarmacs, but personally for a shape like a focus, I'd actually think a classic sort of BBS RS wheel would look epic, especially with the car slammed.

what about a set of kahn cosworths?

I'd love to get a set of vintage BBS, but I'm afraid that they'll be too far out of my price range.

Not the biggest fan of the Kahns, but damn I love that bodykit.
