  • Staggered Wheels on AWD Subaru. Problems?

    Hey guys,

Might be a noob question but tried searching and got both good and bad answers.

So im planning on running 16x7 195/45r16 on front, and 16x8 195/45r16 on the rears.

Can anybody help me out whether this will cause probs with the diffs etc.

    Thanks

I know nothing about it, but doing a quick search on goodle it is a big no no to change tire size, but not offsets.

That setup will be fine since the tires are the same size. I know with Audi's you're supposed to keep the rolling diameters within 3% of each other, I don't know if that applies to Subarus too.

hmmm. even though the tires are the same size, the amount of stretch is different which will cause a very slight difference in overall diameter. it wont be much, but look around on subaru forums to see how much of a difference you can have

          This is false.

The tire diameter will be exactly the same.
