  • Wheel Spacer Problem

I have some issues here...I have a 1996 Nissan Maxima and I am running some 18x8 inch 350z wheels with a +22 offset. My front wheels are perfectly flush with the fenders. The rears are not if I gained a .25 of an inch it would be perfect. I purchased some 8mm spacers and figured this was going to work...I FAILED the stock hub bolts are too short. So my question is more of an opinion: Should I purchase longer bolts in a 50mm length (this is the only size I found) or purchase the bolt-on H&R spacers. (these seem too wide for me though)

this is kind of confusing. There are wheel bolts and then there's studs and lug nuts. As far as i know, maxima's have studs and lug nuts, and if your studs are too short then you can purchase new longer studs to replace the factory studs. What i would do is shop around for studs that are 8mm or as close as possible to 8mm longer than the factory studs so that you don't run into a problem using your current lug nuts.

Sorry I didnt use the proper verbage. I have lugs and studs getting longer studs is not that difficult to get obtain although only one shop in my area will try to order them...I am not sure if I should use these spacers due to the fact they will not longer be hub centric they are now lug centric
