  • Building some old school racing harts

The wheels are old school racing hart C2's.these were pretty popular around 1999.
I picked them up off the local classifieds for really cheap, the clear coat was faded chiped etc.
they are 17x7 with 38 offset
heres them mounted on the front of my car.

looked pretty good but bigger lips would be better.
after searching around I found that work lips "should" fit, there both 36 hole but no one has actual pictures, so I went out on a limb and ordered a pair of 17x2 lips off vsxx wheels from the classifieds on here.

the work 17" lips will fit.

    here's my rear test fit

    should fit flush

They came out great! I had no idea these were actually 3 piece wheels, I always just assumed they were fake splits.

        Great refurbish!

For some reason, I thought Racing Harts were 2-piece (i.e. originally 3-piece when assembled, but with welded barrel and lip)....

          finally got them all finished.
just have to find short lug nuts so the caps will fit on.

Where did you end up getting the new lips from? U say from a vendor section on here?
