just picked up a set of these in 17" 5x120 for a couple hundred in pretty good shape. does anyone know much about these or their rarity? any more pics of custom ones or info? most grateful,thanks.

There have been a few sets for sale recently, but they are still a somewhat rare wheel. ^^^^Unfortunately he refuses to send those internationally(or at least to the other side of the world), but I managed to pick up an original and unsplit set from Europe which I plan to widen and maybe go full polish, not quite as wide as those though, 11's!
Just google image search them, there's quite a few pics that come up

Do you mean in a similar way to LM's how the top mounting face needs to be milled down to be reverse mounted?
I'd have thought with Breytons already being reverse mounted they'd already need to be somewhat flat, or do you mean the underside isn't flat(where it would mount the the top of the barrel)? I haven't split mine yet so I haven't seen them in pieces before.

the back iirc would need to be milled, and im not sure there is enough meat to do so (need to verify). front end of the face is not the issue as it is already flat (reverse mt.)sigpic
