what do you guys suggest out of these:
I've had a ton of 452s bubble on me, so i kinda wanna stay away
I've had pretty good luck with the generals so far, but i dont like the brand image, and the tread looks ugly.
The dunlops have bad ratings..
and everything else is too expensive. lol
anyways, i highly suggest you guys buy your tires from discount tire and get the ~$20 warranty certificate
if your tires fail in any way, bubble, flat, etc, they replace them for free no questions asked....
i think i may just get the 452s again along with the certificates
even if someone were to slice it?Things in real life are never as cool as things would seem.

quick bump.
how do Continental ExtremeContact DWS stretch?
looking to do
215/35 on a 19x8.5
225/35 on a 19x9.5
I see many say the falken 452's are good but others are saying are bad.
kinda stuck between those two..Last edited by mihneagabriel; 11-29-2010, 07:55 PM.

What Tire Brand/Model for my stretch (17x9 235/50/17)
hi im new to the forums and was hoping you guys with experience could guide me in the right direction.
I have a lowered 07 hyundai sonata (1.5~2"). iv gone through a few sets of wheels, mostly19s and 20s and just got tired of spending insane amounts of money on tires. so i bought myself some xxr 522 17x9 with a 42 mm offset. originally i wanted to put 255/45 but realized i would run into issues with my steering and suspension components up front. and 245/45 would lower my car a 1/3 of an inch which i dont want. so im left with 235/50 (which is closest to spec but are not recommended passed 8.5" rim)
iv read that falkens are great for stretching because they have stiffer sidewalls. at the moment im considering falken 912s. #1 does anyone with experience or knowledge think this "stretch" will be unsafe and #2 have any better brand or model tire they can recommend for my size and application?
Thanks for your time.

512's stretch really nicely, and they're freaking easy on the wallet.

Question...I'm looking for some tires for an 8" front and 9.5" rear and I was considering going with 205/40 front and 215/40 rear. Should I go with a tire that's "known" to run wide?E12/E39M/E53

My sister and I are both running 225/35. But her Falken 452s have less of a "stretch" (if you want to call it that, lol) than my Nitto NT555.E12/E39M/E53

I'm running 512's. 205/45/16 on a 9.5, I love the stretch on them. The guy at discount told me that they were discontinued though? Any word?
Also has anyone heard anything about achilles tires? I was thinking about getting some 195/45/16 for a 8.5
