  • Offset/backspacing change question

Okay, i hope someone could help me understand how all this works. Because i seem to be drawing a blank

    The car: 330ci
    my current setup without spacers

    19X8.5 ET30 F
    19x10 ET37 R

    with spacers

    19x8.5 ET 20
    19x10 ET 19

    the rim in subject:
    Linea Corse Le Mans

    The questions/confusion:
I am thinking of running two rears up front from a e46 non-m set up which measures at 19x9.5 ET45. Now with that said the width changes to 1" wider or 25.4mm, so how does this effect the fitment up front? will this sit like my current set up of ET20 up front? in other words ET45 (the rear rim) plus the added width 1" (25.4mm) sooo.. ET45 minus 25.4 (added wdith) = ET20??

again not sure how this works.. and please forgive me if i dont make sense what so ever, lol. In a nut shell this is what i am looking for.... running 4 rears all around (because i love the depth/steplip) but have the 19x9.5 rear at ET45 fit like my ET20 front and i am not sure how the added 1" in width effects the offset/fitment/backspacing...

    Does that make sense?

    Thanks everyone,
    Cesar

If I understood it corectly, you want to know will a different width and offset whell fit like the old one's ...

in that case this should help you out : http://www.willtheyfit.com/

btw there are stickys just about couple of threads above this one, where you can find great info about mostly everything
