bmw wheels on corvette adapters??

Yup. There was a discussion about it on another thread. Im currently running adapters that are not hubcentric ( on the wheel side) and i have some rings so the adapters sit snug on the hub. Studs, conical bolts and a proper torquing with a torque wrench and i drove back and forth to SB for LCL twice on shitty stretches of the 101 without added vibration or problems.

IMO I still wouldnt run them without spigots.
As its putting the weight of the car on the studs rather than directly onto the hub.
If it's worth doing it's worth doing properly.

This obviously doesnt mean its 'wrong' to run the without but for the sake of a few quid why not make double sure?

no he wont cause he isnt using lug bolts, the adapters have studs which means the wheels dont need to be hubcentric, the adapters make the car lugcentric

seein as how i have first hand experience i think i would know

People who flip shit cuz a wheel isnt hub centric crack me up. Most lugs are conical anyway, which means its lug centric, snug em up with the wheel off the ground then torque on the ground, no problem.

Yea I wondered the same thing when I got my adapters made...

There both 5x120 but I guess that tiny bit of difference(cant remember the exact bolt patterns) will throw the fitment off...

If you got any friends w/bimmers, play around w/one of their wheels to see how far off it is, maybe the holes would be just large enough to suffice. Idk....might not be safe though.

Nope, you can run any BMW wheel just gotta figure out the right offset

Use spigot rings then

corvette hub bore is smaller than the BMW so it wont be totally hub centric

You might have to used wobble bolts, but it should work fine for you. Assuming you aren't trying to use E30 or 2002 wheels.
