Clear coating polished aluminum lips?

I have a set of O.Z. mito's which im going to wet sand and polish. after i do this should i put on a clear coat or no? Thanks

depends, if you clear coat them than they will lose a bit of there shine. but they will last much longer with out needing to be re polished, i prefer them uncleared and just polishing them once a month with some sort of alupolish by hand.

QFT, keeping it bare with polish is the best as most clear paints will dull them badly. There are some coatings you can put on top that are supposed to not dull shine (such as zoop), but they are damn expensive and I think zoop is gone now.
