Widening wheels (???)
Hey guys, I bought these wheels and I love the style but **** the fitment.
Basically I got the wheels with the intention of flipping the lips since they are 3 piece. After pulling one apart I discovered that since the inner barrels are double stepped The face does not fit in.
So I came up with the Idea of having the outer barrel cut just in front of the double step, inserting the face and then rewelding. This is the only idea I can come up with since I don't want to get new outer barrels since the car is used for drifting and with the offset it has has now they already hit against the chassis.
If it helps the car is unregistered and cannot ever be registered again as it is only a track car.
Any help at all would be great, if someone knows somebody that can help me out with this or even give me a better idea either would appreciated.
