  • new to bbs n 3 pieces

Im new to having 3 pieces and i recently hopped on what i thought was a good deal on 3 15x6.5 4x100 bbs rs016's yes, 3.. i was under the impression there was one type of rs. apparently i was sadly mistaken, i've been doing tons of research all day trying to figure out what i can do about my situation as its not that simple to find a exact match with the numbering but i was able to find a single bbs rs on the uk ebay for fairly cheap unfortunetely its 4x100 15x6 et38 bbs rs045. My question is are the faces of the bbs rs interchangable im hoping as long as the bolts are the same amount. if i were to go the expensive most likely route with replacing the barrels and lips on all rims would i be able to get away with having complete set of matching rims and sizes or am i just effed until i source a bbs rs016
any links and feed back is appreciated , i searched i havent really found any thing exactly what im looking for. just a extremely long list of bbs rs stock rim#'s
the cars the rims were found on are similar if not the same according to this thread i found but i can no longer find.

Post a pic man and imo your best off just selling the three or parting them and starting over. But the faces are interchangeable.

Depending on the offset of this single wheel, you could find another lip and it could be similar. Being that their all 4x100 is good, not mention all of the parts are interchangeable. But you need to factor in lip size, barrel size, offset and center bore to know if you can make this 15x6 match up with your 15x6.5's.

You could also have them all rebarreled and relipped to make 4 matching wheels in any 15x? size you choose, but that would of course get expensive.

i was thinking the same thing but what if i could just source another 6.5 barrel ? im just wondering if the faces are the same thing.Or, if its just different geometry of the barrel and the lip is what causes the difference. the lips are for sure going on the set already i wanted to keep the stock barrels add a 1.5-2" lip at most and call it a day.

If it has to do with wheels, tires or brakes it goes here. 'Nuff said.

Here the link I couldn't find yesterday unfortunetely there isn't a rs046 on that list so I can't compare them the online auction for the other rim ends today I think I might hop on it to siezr the opportunity

Here's a cool link I found not muc more insightful than the original post in the link on top but at least it doesn't skip any numbers

BBS RS RS045 15" x 6" ET38 4X100 SINGLE ALLOY WHEEL ONLY GOLF POLO CIVIC

              RS016 6 1/2 x 15 32.0 100.00 4 57.0 VW Golf,Scirocco,Passat

They sound pretty similar theres 30 locks on the set I have and 30 on e other one they apparently were on similar cars ie' golf so hopefully the faces are close

The thing I'm worried about is the offset being et 38 on the new single rim and my set is et 32 is there a way to work around that or is that describing e center bore ?

the top one is the one im trying to buy off ebay..
i took a similar angle photo and layered it on ps and it alligned almost perfectly it wasnt the exact angle of the top rim but all the parts lined up fairly close after shrinking the images to the same size lip to lip

                better photos

i noticed in the picture the spokes seemed curved more than my rs016's after much searching i discovered rs045's have a curved spoke outward of .5" to allow better caliper clearance.
