i feel ya man, everyone think that texas road are nice but that is def not the case, ive already gone through 3 lips and 2 pairs of foglights not to mention numerous tires lol

the 215/40 should def help you out, either that or a 205/45

cool, im thinking about doing a 215/40, which isnt MUCH more sidewall, but a little bit. i just **** the fact that ill be running fatter tires up front.

about the pothole factor, this probably happened somewhere in VA on the way down from H2O... the roads fucking suck

usually it cause of using shitty tires a friend of mine and i had the same issues when using "federal" tires but on the toyo it was prob due to hitting u pot hole or bump of some sort, the lower the profile and the more stretch you have the weaker that sidewall will be so any little bump or pothole could of caused that.

i had the same issues with my 215/40's on a 9.5" theyre were potenzas and thy kept bubbling up on my thats why i went with a 45 series and solved the problem. hope this helps

started a topic Why the f00k does my sidewall keep bubbling?

Why the f00k does my sidewall keep bubbling?

Ok so this all started on my old set of wheels, I had 19x8.5 with a set of falken fk452 225/35 on them, i noticed after about 5 k my sidewall bubbled on both fronts. I put them on the back and put the good tires up front, which also lasted me about another 5k.

Thinking I had a defective set, I bought the same set of tires again, same size. And again, 5k and the fronts took a shit, rotated them and got another 5k off the good two on the front.

I finally said fuck it, sold the wheels, and got some new wheels (18x8.5) and bought some Toyo Proxes4 (205/40/18). They were fine for a while until the trip back down to FL I noticed my steering wheel started to wobble (bent wheel symptom), So I get home and start looking for bends inside and out and i find that yet AGAIN my sidewalls have bubbled. This time being the worst of all the other times. They ended up looking like this. on both fronts.

So my question to you all is, wtf am i doing wrong?

Is this a result of an impact? or lack of checking tire pressure? or do i officially have the worst luck in the world?

fuck sorry for the book guys... but i appriciate any help.
Working...
