im in the porcess of building a set of futuras, they will be 18x9 and 18x10.5, and i cant for the life of me decide on tire sizes. right now im thinking 205/40 front and 225/40 for the rear, but i think i want more of a stretch in the rear but i have never seen a 215/40 on a 10.5 so if anyone can help me or just tell me it wont work ill be happy. thanks

Well first how much camber are you running in the rear? and 215 is very aggressive on 10.5 i would run something like 235 instead on 10.5
Here is how 215 looks on 10.5 i tried it not good idea haha :
so i went with 235 am running 10.5 in front but you can see the amount of stretch looks reasonable (don't mind 4x4 stance ahah am working on fitment currently) :

i found some 225/35's i think im gonna get 235 is gonna be to much tire. and this is going on a mk5 gti im gonna max the camber out in the rear so prob close to 5 degreesComment
