  • Any tire gurus wanna help me out on this one....

Okay, I have the sawblades, would love to run a stretched 215 on the 9.5s but the plan is to run 9.5's up front, I have a supercharged fwd vehicle, I would love to get as much meat as possible WHILE looking decent. My previous set of wheels, I stretched a 215 across and 8.5(nothing major) looked great, but performance wise, I suffered severely.

I searched and lurked the internet for WEEKS looking the sawblades in a set-up w/a "nice amount" of meat on the tires but STILL looked good, we all know they look good on stretched meats. Welp I finally found the set-up, but for the life of me, cannot find the profile of the tires this guy ran .

I believe there 235/40 kumhos because up front across the 8.5's up front, there's no stretch.....Then again, Kumhos arent know for great stretching abililites thats why I cant write it off as a 225/40 just yet. Here's the pics, guys user name on the vortex is Bora_Azul. Cant seem to send pms over there.

The set-up is perfect for what Im tryna do but this is the only thing stopping me. I'd **** to take a shot in the dark because tires aint cheap!!

Heres some falkens on sawblades at various profiles.

205s on the 8.5(left).........215 on the 9.5(right) Stretched falkens of course.

225/40 on the 9.5.....falken (dont they look REALLY stretched on there?? another reason I say 235s)

Help a brotha out??! I can't get put my hand on it...my gut says 235/40/17 Kumhos but looking at the 3rd pic says 225s to me!! What kinda kumhos I dont know.

Thanks for any input on the matter Stance Works.

    **Maybe it is 225/45/17** hmmm...

^^ thanks a lot for that...definitely helps as Im leaning towards the 225/45/17, I tried some 215s out for a while, traction was a thing of the past. I'm thinking some sticky 225s could help out a bit more. Those dunlops stretch pretty good.
