if you have to ask if it's safe. you can't hang. But seriously, do it. you'll be fine.

these were my previous cars, the mk3 had 16x9 205.40 in the rear.... i think i can hang
but i had to ask and get some opinions since a bunch of people kept telling me that was a lot of stretch... i personally didn't think it was like a retarded amount of stretch from the beginning and that id be fine running those. I'm starting polishing today, and I'm waiting on a call from a local shop thats hooking me up with some used tires

shitty iphone pics of the first test fit. surprisingly, i won't need hugh spacers for clearance. 10mm all around should be plenty. ill probably run something bigger in the rear since they're pulled slightly. so ready to get these things on!

I think the 195/50s will look good on that.
I've personally seen a 195/50 on a 15x11". Barely held air. As soon as the guy mounted a 205/50 [same brand and model tire even] it held air and seated properly. That's about as extreme as I'd ever go for stretch though.- Bagged '98 Chevy S10 - Stock '88 Volvo 240DL - Broken '87 Mitsubishi Starion ESi-R - Also Broken '87 Shelby Lancer #707/800 -

Nice dude. Are they going to mount them for you? I've had a particularly nasty time with shops here in Utah for mounting stretch tires. All the lowrider shops in the 'hood are on that 24" wheel binge still.- Bagged '98 Chevy S10 - Stock '88 Volvo 240DL - Broken '87 Mitsubishi Starion ESi-R - Also Broken '87 Shelby Lancer #707/800 -

picked up my tires today, used kuhmo 195/50's with good tread for $120but i have to wait til monday to go get them mounted. oh well.
does anyone know how i can bore out the hub on the vette wheels just a few mm? the hub bore on the wheels are 70.3 and my e36 hub is 72.5. i could go to a machine shop but i feel like theres a way i can do it myself since its so small. I've seen other ppl use router's but that might be too big... any suggestions?

had to run small 2 universal spacers in the front to clear my coilovers, i think its 10mm, and theres 1 of the universal spacers in the rear, 5mm i think. i still need to get bigger spacers in the rear and some hub centric ones for the front. ill probably lower it more then too.
i should also get a camera better than my iPhone
