E36 wheel fitment question

Hey all.
I'm have a set of 19s the fit well on my e36. I want to keep the fitment but drop 2 wheel sizes to 17. My question is. If I order the wheels in the same offset as my 19s Will the be the same offset actually be the same ?

yes, size of the wheel has nothing to do with the offset.

Assuming you're not changing widths of the wheels, then yes it will all be the same.
