HELP with tire stretching.

i was thinking of how i should buy tires with less money.
i have 18inches rims with low profile that costed me alot. Costs me often b/c of the bad wheel alignment.
So i thought i could get 17" tires cheap and stretch them to make them fit my 18" wheels.smaller tires= cheap.

how much can i save from stretching tires? awk..
Is it really necesary to have stretched tires when drifting? Can't u just overinflate the tires?
How much does it normally cost to strech tires?

I don't think it's possible to get a 17" tire on a 18" wheel.

As far as drifting, most people actually like the most grip possible in the rear, it let's off tons more smoke. The stretched tires in drifting thing is mostly because tires are expensive so if all you can get is tiny shit then that's what you gotta run. A stiff sidewall is more for cars without a lot of power and can't break em loose. Why not run federal ss595? They are a pretty damn decent performance tire for like 100 a tire in 18's
