I have just started to look for some new wheels for my x-type, how do I work out what I can/can't fit? Sorry if this is a stupid question but I can't seem to find anything interesting.

There are a few ways you can go about this

You could either look at photos of other Jags with similar fitment to what you want and see what specs they run.

Or you can use your current wheels and a ruler to measure what spec wheels you would need to achieve the desired fitment.
The ruler trick is pretty easy, you just measure from the edge of your current wheels outwards and see how much further out you want the wheels to sit. record your measurement and then play around with width and offset calculations until you find specs that would sit to where you have measured.
Dont forget to account for camber/alignment specs that you want to run too.

you've got 5x108 wheels stock too, so remember that for when you order adapters
