  • Help with E36 Sedan and tire size.

So I have an issue. I have a E36 sedan and I got these new wheels that I am trying to fit. They are 8.5x17 ET20 2" lip and 9.5x17 ET13 3" lip. I have heard people say to run 215/40/17 on the fronts and 225/40/17 on the rears, but 225/40 seems pretty hard to find. Would 215/40 all around be good or should I run 205/40 in the fron and 215/40 in the rears. I have coilovers and front camber plates and want to run as low as possible to eliminate fender gap. I plan to roll my fenders and I can even get adjustable rear controls if need be.

    Thanks,
    P

I would run 205/40 on the front with a spacer, probably a 10 or 15mm and a 215/40 on the rear

Sounds like the best idea. Hopefully the GC coils let me go lower enough to have an aggresive setup.

        this.
        Maybe even run a 195/45 & or 195/40 and 205/40. You can see in my build thread v3 me running a 195/40 on a 8.5 et13.
