BBS LM tyre size advice needed please

So I've got a car I've always liked and admired.

The wheels are 18x8.5 LM's.

The rears have 6mm spacers at either side. The clown who had it last had 225 40 18's and the rears were rubbing and the tyre wall is worn away.

When I knew the car before it never had any rubbing issues at all. Its on Kw-V1 coilovers as well.

So I want to get four new tyres. I'm open to advice and suggestions but bear in mind I'm driving the car 400 miles a week.... good roads and secondary roads as well.

So what size do you suggest? Thanks

People at least need to know the make of car and the offset of the wheels as well as the specs you've posted to give you any usable info

Saying that though you don't have much choice with 8.5j. If you need stretch get a skinny one, if you don't get a wider one.

Found out it was ran on 215 35 18's before.
