  • ATL- Shops that will mount stretched tires

    Hey guys.

Im looking for a shop in ATL that would be willing to mount stretched tires.

Trying to get 215/40/16 on a 16x9 wheel, so not too bad.

Ive already tried Gran Tourismo East and the owner refuses to mount them cause the last time i took them to him one tire blew off and almost killed one of his guys.

    Anyone got any other places?

A 215/40/16 on a 16x9 shouldn't be too bad, about any tire shop will do that. My friend Ryan runs that and you don't need a cheetah or anything special, simply mount the tire and pump in about 40psi. If you are over in the Johns Creek area, I know of a couple places I could recommend.

I'm located in the lawrenceville/Grayson area

Any recommendations would be good. I wouldn't mind traveling for it. I just need it done in time for SOWO
I've already been turned down by a few shops.
It's really not that bad of a stretch. I understand that it's a liability to them, but to be honest, I think they're just being girls about it.
