Double staggered tire sizing, help!

I'm running a double staggered 17x9.5/18x11 setup on my e34. I'll be running either 245/40/18 or 255/35/18 on the rear but I'm trying to decide what to run in the front. I was going to run 215/45 or 225/45 17's but I'm afraid its going to look odd with more sidewall and less stretch in the front.. Basically my question is, should I try to get closer on total o.d or match the sidewall/stretch?

that rear fit is bonkers.
Well, it really depends on how much room you got up front for going lower. I would try and match the sidewall and stretch and run some rake.

I can go as low as I need to up front, I was planning on running some rake but Im just not sure what to go with on a 17x9.5".. I really wish someone besides Nitto made 225/40/17 because I think that would be perfect. 235/40 won't be enough stretch, 225/45 will be too tall..
