Hi Guys,
I am waiting on some OZ wheels to arrive for my daily E30. Good size tyres are tough to find in 17" so I am struggling to find a stretch I am willing to daily on and will also allow the wheels to fit the car.
I had my mind set on Federal SS595 as they are a meaty tyre for their size. 205/40/17 on 8.5 and 215/40/17 on 10". Well stretched but hopefully beefy enough to daily drive.
However a local guy is selling a pair of 80%+ tread Firestone tyres in 215/40 for $150. I have asked him the specific model of tyre.
Can anyone comment on how these go for stretch? Also do they tend to run narrow, true or wide?
Any input appreciated.
