right, my current wheel setup features a 5.5j 16" on the front and a 7.5j 17" on the rear

needless to say it looks shit.

so I chucked one of the 17"s on the front and it fixed the problem up nicely...

but the tyre rubs on the inner part of the arch...if it was a normal car rolling the arches would be possible, no one's done it to plastic as far as i know...

so currently the rear is a 215/35

what sort of tyre sitting on the front roughly would clear that? I would like to run more width on the front than a 175 that I currently do...but do you think it'll clear? Looking at the selection of 195/40, I've kind of shortlisted the Yoko S-Drives, Toyo Proxy 4 and the Falken ZE912.

Out of those three, which would you pick? Any other suggestions?

not happening. 15"s and 16's look shocking and i'll be rocking a fair amount of rubber to compensate

not to mention when it comes to getting rid of the car, it's going to be harder to sell as the factory wheels go for a fair bit. and i'm yet to see another set that i'd happily rock.

yea a good old fashioned die grinder or angle grinder works wonders.

i know quite a few people who have done it to their e36 bmw's.
