  • Will these BBS's fit

Okay i have a 02 Subaru WRX, looking to get new rims for my car and was wondering if these would fit or what it would take for them to fit, Thanks in advance for the help.

    The Rim's
    BMW Style 5's / BBS RC090's 17x8 et 20
    Tire's
Looking at a couple but size that seems nice is 205/40/17

the car and wheels have different bolt patterns.
You need adapters or the wheels re-drilled.

With the offset and tire choice i can't help you with. Good luck with the project.

      1. the tires should fit, but will have a lot of stretch, i would go 215's
      2. you should go wider, 8.5 or 9
      3. et20 is deep for a scoob, i would say et28 is about as far as you should go

youre going to have to redrill the wheels seeing as how style5's are 5x120 and you car is 5x114

I was going to get adapter's, but i was researching and some sites say my 02 is 5x100 and some say it's 5x114 so was wondering what it really was. And seen some other subaru's running a et 20, but will i need to roll the fender's to get these to fit ? but i really appreciate the help i know i ask a lot of question but rather ask them now than later or get something and can't use them etc.

Subaru doesn't have bolt pattern of 5x114. Subaru has 5x114.3. This bolt pattern came in 2005.
You have 2002 year scooby so your car has 5x100.

I've read around that you can run a different offset just long as there the same tires is this correct?
And i was wondering if you can run different width's like 17x9 and 17x8.5, without fucking up the diff. or causing harm to the car?

                Subaru fitment 101:
AWD Transmission means you need to run the same size tire, wheel, etc, all the way around. Purists even say you need to run the same offsets, however, I don't.

An average "aggressive" setup is something like 9"-9.5" with a 35ish offset.
I have seen a 17x8 run before, but as mentioned above, you're going to need adapters or to have the wheels redrilled.
If you run adapters, you're going to need to run a 25mm adapter to clear the studs. Even if the wheel has places for spacers, the difference in P.C.D. will change so much your studs will still hit. This has happened to me personally. lol

                So, a 17x8 redrilled with a +20 et will look good. A 17x8 with a -5et...I'm not so sure.

Lastly, you need 205/45 tires. 40 series tires are way, way too small for our fenders. Again, I've ran into this problem myself.

If you have any other questions, feel free to PM me.
