  • Parts for D2 Forged 3pc wheels.

I would like to find a supplier (unless dealing with the manufacturer is my only option) for bolts, lips and barrels for D2 Forged wheels. I am waiting to receive a set of VS1's (20x9.5 & 20x11) and one lip is bent, and two have a peeling finish. I may or may not be able to fix the bent lip, but eventually, I will want to change the width and offset of these wheels, so I will need parts for sure. Bolts are easy to get I guess (BFI), but I have no clue about the lips & barrels, or even if D2 Forged uses some kind of standard/universal type of hoop.

Any help would be appreciated. I tried searching but "D2" and "lips" are too short to be included in the search :/

manufacturer is probably the best way to go here. Derek is a really cool dude and will definitely help you out.
I have no affiliation, but see him at pretty much all of the shows for the past 6-7 years, and we always start up crazy conversations on the cars were building at the time.

oh and just from experience, most manufacturers of recent times use M8 bolts and nuts, not m7 like old school bbs. Not saying thats this case, but its likely

Dealing with D2 was very very slow. Took them weeks before they shipped the disassembled wheels. Of course they didn't include center caps and valve stems. Took weeks again before I got those parts, along with new assembly bolts. But now I just realized there is something else missing and honestly, I don't feel like going through D2 again to get it... Opposite the valve stem hole, there is another hole in the barrel of each wheel, I assume this is simply for some kind of plug that serves as a counterweight to the right angle valve stem tube. I wonder if anyone knows if this is a standard part, what is it called exactly and where I can get it?

Refinished the peeling chrome lips, as well as the center sections in a brushed, clear coated finish. Now I'm ready to re-assemble, once I acquire those counterbalance plugs.
