Hey guys I just acquried a set of C5 Corvette wheels for a project and I have a couple questions about tire stretch.

The front wheels are 17x8.5 and the rears are 18x9.5, I was thinking of running 215/45/17 in the front and a 225/40/18 in the rear? Any brands of tire you stick with personally? Any help is appreciated.

I see people on Nankang specially stretching, never really heard bad things about them. But then again I guess tire performance comes down to how much psi, suspension setup, & weight of the car but that's just my .02

Yea, I've heard FAlken 912, Nanakang NS2's, Dunlop Direzzas and the Federal 595's stretch pretty good too. Any ideas on what stretch would be best for a daily driven car?

Falken 912 has my vote for perfect stretch

where did you find a 215/45? I have only seen a few. i have a 225/45 on my 9.5" sawblades but looking to step down to a 215/40 once my coilovers are in.

Taht looks real good. I'm leaning towards a 215/45 in the front on the 8.5's and a 225/40 in the rear with the 9.5's.

i must have been asleep when i posted this... I meant to say 225/40. I am an idiot. I have 9.5's all around, I like your stretch in the rear. Now have to decide 215/40 or 215/45

i like it. I think the wagon wheels will look good, very similar just more aggressive which I like. simple and clean
