  • Best polish for wheel protection?

So my new wheels will be on in the next couple of weeks; gold bolts, raw polished lips

So, if I want to keep these clean I will probably need to polish them maybe once a week or maybe even once every other week. As much as I wish I could do this, I doubt it will happen. Probably for the first few weeks and than I will get tired of it.

My question is, do you guys know of or are any of you currently using some sort of polish/sealer to keep them clean? Not sure if I really want to use regular car wax on the wheels. I have been looking into either of these

JetSeal is the ultimate long-lasting paint sealant that uses the latest aerospace technology to protect against the harshest elements while enhancing a brilliant glassy shine.

Anyone have experience with those or want to recommend other sealers/polishes? I just dont have the time to be polishing every time it rains

I'd just use regular mag/aluminum polish and some wheel wax. That's what I'm doing.

Is this safe to use on gold bolts as well?

I used Gords on my Works when I first bought them. They were in good shape but needed a deep cleaning. They came up perfect. I also used it on my old chomed BBS RX and it seems to keep the finish pretty nice. It's not a paste, so it's much easier to work with in my opinion.

Definitely the moonshine of wheel polishes though haha

haha it definitely looks like the moon shine of wheel polishes!

Gords is for metal only right? I kind of like how the poorboys can be used on the non polished parts as well :/ Would 8 oz last a while? Do you need to apply a wax first, than the sealant?
