  • MK6 RPF1s - Staggered or No?

So I've been looking to pick up some RPF1s, but I am very new to VWs and would like some feedback here before I make a purchase. I want to get the 18" RPF1s with the slight concave spokes which only come in 18x9 and wider. That being said, I was thinking of doing 18x9 +35 all around, however I've done some reading and people have mentioned it may not be such a fun setup for the front wheels (different wheels with similar sizing specs).

With that in mind, I'm willing to go narrower on the front and lose the concavity, probably the 18x8 +35 (since the 18x8.5 do not come in 5x112.. weird) only if it is necessary to avoid being a pain in the ass to drive. I already have some Konis coming and I plan on having them on the lowest height (2.3/2). Also how many degrees of camber will I have to run if I were to fit 215 or 225 tires?

Thanks in advance, any help is much appreciated!

that front fitment will suck a lot. nothing a roll won't fix though. you could always get 5x114.3 and use wobble bolts to get the 8.5 up front. anyways, the 8 et35 is still considered aggressive and might need slight fender work (probably just fender screw mod). Koni's really don't go that low, but you're probably going to want to do 215 all around.

thanks for the feedback, i may consider running the wobble bolts on the 18x8.5 +40

That would be a really good fitment for the mk6.
