stretching tires need opinions

i have a set of mustang cobra r wheels. i wanna stretch a 225/35/17 across the back wheels (10.5" wide) but i have some concerns about the sidewalls being too small........

anyone have any ideas or know what tire size i should use before i spend money on something that is gonna screw up?

What do you mean by screw up?

If you like that stretch, then order tires. Now remember that different brands do stretch differently.
