  • Oz futura bolt socket set?

    wondering if someone could loan me one out or if there any cheaper alternatives on getting a 10pt socket to remove the bolts on OZ futuras?

    willing to pay who ever loans me the tools! just dont have the money right now to dish out 150 for 3 sockets

    3 sockets?
    you only need two. one 8mm 10point socket and one 10mm 10point socket. you can get them of ebay for like 15-20$ you can also find them at the tool store with some luck, most of the time they can order them as well. good luck with the project.

        i have bought these before, just be careful and use a torque wrench because i've broken MANY of those with just 10lbs over the recommended tq.

              ^ i'd assume he means snapped the screws with those sockets. The sockets are pretty big and little 8mm / 10mm screws means they're like 4mm / 6mm threads so they are small and fragile. Plus the multiple points of contact you get with the multi sided socket also adds greater grip and thus easier torque into the screws.

              just be careful when tightening basically
