  • Help with wheel fitment!!!

I'm looking to get a set of corvette salad shooter wheels for my E30. I know that I'm going to have to get spacers and roll the fenders, however, I was hoping someone could help with specifics. Such as tire sizes that will work on a 16x8.5 and 16x9.5 sizes and what size spacers to use, etc... anyone with experience in this kind of a set up that could help would be appreciated. thanks

I was going to run a set of these on my e30 and my plan was:
Adapters: 20mm adapters in the front and 25mm adapters in the rear
Tires: 195/45 front and 205/45 rear, that would be a pretty mild setup basically.
    Good luck man.

Actually, a 205 on a 9,5x16 would be a pretty wild setup! Fronts will work though!

yea that would be some stretched tires for sure! lol, thanks for the info! also I've been told that because the hub centers are larger on the vette wheels that it would need hub centric rings. Would the spacers solve that issue as well????

if your car is still 4 lug you need adapters, not spacers. adapters we sell are hub and wheel centric to the bmw and the vette wheel. no hub rings needed.
If you're ordering custom adapters, call 775.530.2483 to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Thanks

I'm actually converting the car to a 5 lug swap using e36 front struts and control arms, spindles and brakes. E30 springs, top hats, brake lines. The rear I'm suing 318ti hubs and brakes. So itll be 5x120 to accommodate the corvette wheels. I was just asking about the whole hub centric deal. That's why I spoke of spacers not adapters. Thank you though!

^^ Lol...215 will still be nicely stretched ....so i think a set of 20mm and 25mm spacers and long wheel studs will be on order and I found a nice set of salad shooters in town so once my tax return comes I'll be on the move.
