  • extended studs !

Okay well im getting some new spacers for my car an e46
im going to be running 15mm front and back so i was just wondering
if it would be better for me to get extended studs vs to bolts .
sorry if its a dumb question but thanks in advance

pretty sure bmw's come with stud bolt that go into the hub, not studs that come out of the hub, in any case getting longer studs/stud bolts is recommend. I think if you can get between 3-4 full rotations with the bolt or lug nut, you are safe

5 or 6 full turns is recommended. also you can do a lug conversion which would screw into the hubs and use a lug nut or you can get extended lug bolts that work as the same as the OEM setup only longer. lmk if you need anything
If you're ordering custom adapters, call 775.530.2483 to make sure you are getting exactly what you want. Thanks

Yeah i would really like to do a stud conversion but im not quite set on it as my car isn't very aggressive , what size bolts would you recommend with me running around 15mm all around or 15 Front and 17mm in the back ?

yeah i threw a spacer without getting extended studs, ended over tightening, stripped lugs and studs with the wheel still attached to the hub. Then tired to drill out the studs, no go, in the end had to blow touch off the back of the studs hahaha what a weekend
