  • Alpina fitment for e24 and e28

    Hey there guys,
New to the forums and in desperate need of fitment help and the only place where I'm sure I can get the correct answer is here

I just picked up a set of Alpina wheels

    18 x 8: 8JJX18H2 ET:40

    18 x 9: 9JJX18H2 ET:45

I believe this fitment is for e36 cars? I have a e24 635csi and I need to get these onto the car. Is it possible with some combination of spacers and hub rings?

    Thanks so much!

    Hello.

You came to the right place.
Here is a linkthat contains the stock PCD and offsets on stock cars also tire sizes. if you look at the chart you can see a pattern of high offset and low.
Looking at the numbers, i would say a about 25mm~30mm spacer would get you enough clearance on the inside to run those wheels.

Also if you scroll all the way down you can see this nifty little chart here.
    Key to Notes
Most vehicles: PCD 5x120 Bore 72.5mm Bolts M12x1.5-17
    E39: PCD 5x120 Bore 74.0mm Bolts M12x1.5-17
    E10/E21/E30/Z1: PCD 4x100 Bore 57.0mm Bolts M12x1.5-17
    R50/R53: PCD 4x100 Bore 56.0mm Bolts M12x1.5-17
    R56: PCD 4x100 Bore 56.1mm Bolts M14x1.25-17
    E83/E65: PCD 5x120 Bore 72.5mm Bolts M14x1.5-17
    E53: PCD 5x120 Bore 72.5mm Bolts M14x1.5-19
    E70: PCD 5x120 Bore 74.0mm Bolts M14x1.25-19

There is big bore and small bore. And the e36 and e24/e28 both fall into the small bore so you don't need hub rings. tho it would really help to measure before you order a set of spacers. Remember i did this only looking at numbers on the internet and not looking at the actual clearance that you got.
And maybe you might be able to mount them right up.
