BBS - Are these worth my time/money?

Found these locally for $550 for 5 w/tires 17" supposedly no curb rash or heavy damage. Guy says they came off a 2000 BMW 528i



I've been wanting to get a set of 2-3 piece wheels just to restore and sell for the fun of it but I'm not sure if these particular ones would sell or just sit around in my storage for a few months after the restore :/

Any insight would be much appreciated!

they are common BMW style 5 . . not really rare and sought after in 17inch . . but decent wheels . . I do like em (I have 4 sets of 17s and 2 of 18s . . click, the wheels-link in my sig . .. ) . . . are they staggered? . . if you like em, then go for em . . but I'm not sure if they are a good investment, check bimmerforums for price on them . . can't see them going for much more than the 550$ you have to pay even when polished . .

and behind being "stock" BMW wheels, they're actually BBS-RC . .

Thanks for the info guys, I've been searching around and I agree that I don't think I'll be making any money off of them. I'd still like a set to refinish but I just found a set of wheels for my Golf that I'm going to have to jump on tonight so I'll have to wait for a project set once I build up another wheel fund haha

I agree, not a especially difficult wheel to find and NO room for profit or to compensate for your efforts at that price.

yea the only rc090's worth any money are the 17x9's

refinished into "like new" condition you could get up to maybe 1000bucks give or take especially if you have a set of 5.

but 550 for a set of 5 is a steal no matter the condition as long as they arent bent.
